Another proof for the unbelievable stupidity of F1 fans
Posted: 18 Apr 06 8:09 PM (N/A)

From eurosport.com :

Tost toasts Michelin

Scuderia Toro Rosso's team principal Franz Tost sings Michelin's praises after a successful Formula One debut having bought out the struggling Minardi. The Minardis were invariably at the back of each starting grid last year and Tost says Michelin is to be thanked for STR's improved performance.

Yeah, right !

The current improved performance compared to the other teams has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they are running V10 engines ? Nooooooooooooo, no waay !

Or are they not trying to fool us, the fans ? Are they trying to fool the other teams ? Trying to stop the other teams from filing a complaint ? Wow - good move ! I am sure the other team bosses are much more stupid than us fans, they will buy this story for sure !

DUH !

I have NOT lost my mind — I have it backed up on tape somewhere.

To be honest..I had no problems with MINARDI's running a limited V10 engine....afterall I think Stoddart had enough passion in him to want to do so well and knowing that his team was well....  how else can I put it but underfunded in every department and very much down on power...

BUT......

WHEN Red Bull took it over and it became the Torra Rossa team THEN that agreement should of been over ruled...  Red Bull are by no means underfunded...and its a totally different ball game now...(sorry Ian ...but especially with the arrogance of Scott Speed and being as outspoken as hes been)...they are now running  up there but its not genuine..  OK they maybe limited to 16,000 rpm  with the V10 where some of the other teams  running the V8's are at 20,000 rpm.. but I feel now that as Red Bull have taken over that they should be made to use V8 engines..
When the FIA must of been aware of the take over of Paul Stoddarts team they should of stepped in then and said ok  but the V10 engine allowance is ONLY for Minardi  and will therefore not be carried  over...

I just hope that RBR can  wipe the smile off  Torro's face this weekend...it must nto be good morale for the team to be  beaten by their second team...

SAYING THAT -  wasnt it funny to see Scummi being overtaken by an ex Minardi  LOL
