Which teams do you think will impress this season??
Posted: 23 Feb 06 9:30 PM (United Kingdom)

Well... not long now folks - and several reports coming through from teams that things are not well with the swap from V10 's to V8's

Mclaren have said they are struggling  ...Oh  yes and that  RED team ( cant remember what they are called now  LOL ) have struggled in a recent test....  so with big teams trying to get the hang of the new regulations for this season.....who else is looking strong..

One team we  can count out is Super Aguri ...why oh why ....Taku having a short first outing in the car - Hmmm wonder why that was !!

Red Bull have had that cooling problem....but have since shown things are possibly sorted out - but with that red team struggling and RBR using their engines...does this look good.

Williams have the COsworth engine - which we must all admit - have a pretty fantastic reliabilty last season while powering RBR...with only one failure for David Coulthard ( hmmm why in the hell that one failure had to pick on HIM  I dont know - but it was the wrong driver to deal with  !!!!)

BMW obviously have their own team now.....and it will be interesting to see how Jacque and Nick get on - I get the feeling that the partnership there is going to be strong....

Midland - the old Jordan -  well  after their winning days in 1999 - they were  sometimes losing out to Minardi...so there is only one way they can go and thats up ( hmm thats aslong as they are far enough in front of Taku in the SA team  LOL)

Renault  go in knowing they have the World champ Alonsodriving for them  but only for this season.....will Fisi get a bit more support from Briatore? - who knows -  I  guess he will have to prove first that he can  equal Alonso first..

Toyota - no change there .... a better season for them last season - but I still feel they will only finish about 5th this season in the constructors - so no real improvement there..

I know Ive not covered everyone here....and Ive  been involved in F1 long enough to know that you cant go by pre season  testing...whose  sandbagging - and whose used up all their reliability quote in pre season  - who knows.... all I know is that we will be having 22 car on the grid once more....and that is a  sight I cant wait to see

I am quite sure that we will see the battle for the championship again between Renault and McLaren. If McLaren can be reliable, they will win. The Reds will be a bit down leading the rest because nobody else can consistently get good results
I have NOT lost my mind — I have it backed up on tape somewhere.
