Hmm looks like Ferrari's engines are really struggling.....we know Massa and DC have both got engine changes for this weekend...and now talks of Scummi not needing an engine change YET !!
from ITV/F1/com
Ferrari has no intention of changing Michael Schumacher's engine prior to the Malaysian Grand Prix, despite concerns that his V8 may suffer the same fate as his team-mate Felipe Massa's
The Brazilian and customer Red Bull Racing driver David Coulthard both incurred 10-place grid penalties in Sepang after they required engine changes.
Technical director Ross Brawn told ITV Sport: "Michael's engine is fine, but we are monitoring the situation."
Ferrari's plans may change on Saturday however when the engine will be expected to complete as much as another 60 laps.
Schumacher did allow that while he intends to stick with the motor for now, he has not ruled out the possibility of an engine change over the weekend."At the moment there isn't a real problem, but we'll check it and reflect over it. We'll know with certainty tomorrow," he said."Let's put it this way: there is a theoretical possibility we'll have to change the engine, but I hope it won't happen."
Hmm I cant see Scummi making his way through the field like Kimi did last weekend...but could be fun to watch if he has to !!
Well Ferrari dont seem so strong in the Malaysian heat so I dont think he would be able to plough through the field like Kimi did.
I would like to see a bit of reliability problems with Ferrari for a change. Too bad that I actually like Felipe and the Red Bull engine customers
Alonso had some hydraulic problems, but Briatore said they could fix it
This is the hottest race of the season so it is clear that we will have some engines blow up here. Firstly, most engines already have one race on their back, secondly these are newly developed engines
Anyway, I like the line up - going to be an interesting race tomorrow
