France win the first ever A1GP world series
Posted: 13 Mar 06 10:49 AM (United Kingdom)
Well I guess this was  inevitable...France had been so dominating throughout this first season of A1GP...but the series HAS been a great success..

Inspite of coming 2nd yesterday in California ( sprint race) and having to retire out of the  feature race...they achieved enough to secure and become the first ever winners of A1GP and become World Champions...

Final race comes up in 3 weeks and if people havent yet seen it and you CAN watch it ...it really is well worth a gander at it..

Well done  France...Robbie Kerr has  driven his final race...a brill season by him aswell and team GBR..currently lying 3rd behind France and Switzerland.....

I think it was much more impressive that Switzerland took 2nd place because you dont really know too many drivers from this small country

Well done, Switzerland - next year take the championship !

I have NOT lost my mind — I have it backed up on tape somewhere.

Yes  Switzerland  or should I say Neel Jani did a  simply fantastic job...and they sure as hell missed him  yesterday in the race...i think both Switzerland and Great Britain will struggle in the  final race...Robbie Kerr hadnt done any racing for 2 years before A1GP and he  certainly didnt do anything to harm a racing career in another series...its just a shame that the Neel and Robbie  are not about to do the fnial round..

Well, the decision has been made already and Neel is busy testing F1 cars now
