Canadian GP - Former world champion Jacques Villeneuve has slammed Lewis Hamilton's aggressive starts and believes he could cause a major accident soon if he does not stop chopping in front of other drivers.
British rookie Hamilton has regularly made up places at the first corner by muscling his way around other cars, notably in Australia when he went around the outside of two cars to move into second place.
But Canadian veteran Villeneuve thinks the McLaren drivers getaways are a little too reminiscent of controversial legend Michael Schumacher for his liking, and that he should be penalised for them in the future if he does not kerb his tactics.
"When will these chopping moves stop?" Villeneuve told Autosport magazine. "Lewis is not getting penalised for these things ¬ and his behaviour off the startline has started to look the way Michael [Schumacher] used to.
"So far, he has been lucky, so we'll see if it carries on. He makes progressive moves that would have got some of the other drivers black-flagged."
Hamilton has made the most successful start to a career in the 57-year history of Formula One, becoming the first man to finish on the podium in each of his first five races and the youngest man to lead the world championship.
But despite him currently being tied for the championship lead on 38 points with his double champion team-mate Fernando Alonso, Villeneuve believes he has still to prove himself when the pressure is really on.
"Lewis is very fast, but he still has to step up to the plate and beat Alonso," he added. "And we still haven't seen how he reacts under pressure; that will be interesting to watch."
Hey, jacques, shut up and get lost ! Why do you think you are no longer in F1 ? Because you haven't got a clue !

Lewis Hamilton's on-track rivals have refused to join former World Champion Jacques Villeneuve in condemning the McLaren rookie.Villeneuve, who left the sport last year, observed this week that 22-year-old Hamilton's start-line tactics remind him of Michael Schumacher, and marvelled that the rookie has not yet been penalised for 'chopping' in front of other drivers.Hamilton's opponents including Alex Wurz and Giancarlo Fisichella, however, refused to tow the line as they lashed back at outspoken Villeneuve when facing reporters in Montreal on Thursday."I think Jacques might find it more and more difficult in the future to find comments he can give," Williams' Wurz said."I see nothing wrong with the moves he (Hamilton) is making. It's hard to defend your line. "Fisichella added: "Jacques says quite a lot of things in the media right now. He talks too much."Hamilton's countryman Jenson Button, however - who was famously another victim of Villeneuve's acid tongue as his BAR Honda team-mate a few years ago - opted to stay out of the melee. The Honda driver commented: "I've been so far back on the grid this year that I haven't seen any of the moves that have been going on. I wish I had but I haven't."
Very good ! Maybe Jacques should shut up if he hasn't got anything to say
