Well well ...how good it was to see some  wheel to wheel action..great  race to  start the  season off... FAB job by Fernando Alonso - and  ( Oh gawd here I go- I apologise here now - but in terms of sportsmanship ONLY) it was nice to see Scummi with a  smile on his face...Dont worry Im disliking the guy as  much as  ever BUT - I think as a racer ( and not when hes cheating) he will of enjoyed that race with Alonso...  Ok  enough nice talk about Scummi !!.

One laugh  sorry - to have a go at Buttplug again - but  let me just  pass a message onto my old  mate here....Jens !!  if  you  WANT to stand a chance in  winning races - dont screw up your  starts then ....you  dont  win races by that... and with all the ITV hype before the race saying Oh this  could  be his chance for a win  !!//YEAH RIGHT -

but overall  GREAT race...Disappointed for David....had  me  very worried  with so many passing him at the start - but the  fuel load he was  carrying -  I forgive him totally ( see Jens - even on a  heavy fuel load DC STILL managed to get up to 10th - thats like UP 3 places and not DOWN 3 places  ) but so sad to see him out of the points ..

From a  Red Bull point of view considering this is the first time the cr has actually MANAGED race distance - they must be pleased... something to  work with there....not sure what happened to Klien though at the end  out of  fuel or a problem -  dont know ..

Roll on  next week !!

I was so relieved when my suspect was confirmed that the Ferraris had qualified on lower fuel than the others.

GREAT race ! I had them impression that it has again become possible to use the wind shadow to get yourself in an overtaking position due to the less power in the new engines. F1 seems to have become the best races to watch again !

Although Scummi said before the race that all the people who had turned OFF their TV's last year in DISAPPOINTMENT that Ferrari didn't win all the races, could safely turn on their TV's again and leave them on. On which planet is this guy living ? We all turned our tv's off because of the Ferrari redwash and we all enjoyed last season

I was also very impressed about Nico Rosberg's performance - great new talent there, I am sure we will see a lot more of him

And for Jenson Button - come on, I don't think his performance was that bad - look at Rubinho. We have now really seen what he is capable of. If this is how he is going to perform this year, he will definitely not get a seat next year !

I have NOT lost my mind — I have it backed up on tape somewhere.

Freddie... Buttplugs performance was OK ...BUT if he had not of lost so many places when the  red lights went out - a podium was on the cards for him atleast..ALl Im saying is that he cant say Oh yes I know I can win  blah blah - when you  mess up something that they must practice god knows how many times..

As for Rubhino - loss of 3rd gear and having to look after his other gears was  his  problem - but it was  great to see the two Hondas battling away....hence leaving Scummi and Alonso to disappear into the distance...
