From eurosport.com :
Two former Ferrari employees have been sentenced to suspended jail terms after being found guilty of industrial espionage. Mauro Iacconi and Angelo Santini were found to have spied on the Scuderia while working for Toyota - who sacked them before the case was made public.
They had been accused of gaining unauthorised access to the Italian team's computers and misappropriating files.
Iacconi was sentenced to 16 months for taking a CD containing importnant data along with files and industrial drawings, while Santini was given nine months for disclosing industrial secrets.
Suspicions had been raised when Toyota's TF103 car that was used in 2003 showed similarities to Ferrari's F2002.
The pair had defended their action, claiming that the evolving nature of Formula One meant industrial secrets have a limited duration.
Both men plan to appeal, while a third technician was released.
The Toyota story gets more and more funny - no matter what these people do, it just doesn't work
I have a hint for you guys : Get a couple of good drivers ! Or just one !
