From eurosport.com :
Bernie Eccleston has once more said that the number of Formula 1 Grand Prix could be increased to 20.
At the moment there are 17 races on the calendar but the sport's chief sees new markets for expansion opening up all the time.
"We could easily imagine that the number of Grand Prix in a season could be 20. That could be Mexico, India and Russia. South Korea is another candidate," said Ecclestone.
"The more we hold races in good countries, the easier it will be for them to find sponsors."
Ecclestone also said he was looking at the possibility of night races, while he confirmed that none of the current races are guaranteed to remain on the scheduled if they don't respect FIAs polices.
"An (night race) would be ideal for Asia, since it would be the right time difference to be broadcast in Europe. It would also be very spectacular, it all depends of course on the circuit," he said.
"Formula One is very international; it's a world championship, not a championship linked to certain countries. When the standards are not respected we have to go elsewhere."
I don't know if this old idiot can make up his mind. Two years ago, we had what, 19 races. Then it was said to be too much and now we have 17. Now there COULD be 20 races ?
Shut up and do something !
I want as many F1 races as there are NASCAR races ! Move over, old fart and let me make the decisions
