Fry hopeful of big step forward

Fry hopeful of step up
Honda team boss Nick Fry believes that the team can compete against the best in Formula One for the first time in 2007.

Speaking at the official launch of the Japanese manufacturer’s RA107, Fry, who has led the team since it was known as BAR in 2003, said that their past weaknesses would be wiped out

Fry said: "That is something that this team in its present guise, and under the title of BAR, never actually has achieved in the past," he added.

"We got off to a reasonable start last year and were pretty good by the end but in the middle we were weak at a number of races.

"Even in our best year, 2004, we had a slump in the middle of the year. So our simple objective is to start and stay competitive and finish strongly."

Well, as always, you need to have good drivers to have success in F1, Mr Fry ! Do you think you have that ?

But the car looks pretty cool - about time we got a black car back on the grid

I have NOT lost my mind — I have it backed up on tape somewhere.
