On thursday Mika Hakkinen will be once again at the wheel of a McLaren Mercedes of F-1The Brazilian driver of Ferrari, Felipe Massa, has leaded the best time of the second training day of F-1. In second position, Nick Heidfeld (BMW Sauber) has overtaken Luca Badoer (Ferrari) during the last minute of the trainings. Pedro de la Rosa has followed Luca in the fourth position. De la Rosa has closed his first preseason 2007 tests.The Circuit’s track has shown an excellent look because the amateurs could see 18 drivers running in from ten different teams of the F-1 World Championship. The two-world Champion of F-1 (1998 and 1999), the Finnish Mika Hakkinen, who is nowadays a member at the prestigious DTM championship files of Mercedes, will be once again at the steering wheel of a McLaren-Mercedes of F-1 to give his view about the motor and tyres changes.According to McLaren Mercedes’ motor-racing team “this forms part of the training programme to prepare the 2007 season, where the World’s Champion Fernando Alonso and the Champion of GP2 Lewis Hamilton will compete for Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes”.Marc Gené (Ferrari) is going to participate on the trainings and he will substitute Felipe Massa in the development of the new red sport car. Tomorrow, Toyota will have his two official drivers, Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher, at the Circuit’s track.
