SEASON 2010 FINALE: DTM Shanghai
Posted: 25 Nov 10 7:33 AM (N/A) Modified By wroomer on 11/25/2010 7:36:38 AM)
Cannot be more exciting and intruiging... Only 17 points dividing contenders for the season overall winner position and the big money Roger Walter and Antero Matikka. The battle will be harsh and as tight as it can but fair be to get the title. I thank and congratulate hereby Roger participating the first time in his life in NASCAR picking in its last race in Ford 400 Homestead-Miami and immediately achieving 27 points... Incredible! Hopefully you continue taking part in NASCAR picking in the following seasons too! NASCAR predictions are great fun! Good luck to everyone taking part in Shanghai! Hope to see you all and many many more new pickers next season!

However it finishes, this year has been a brilliant battle between myself and Antero for overall honours - with Antero leading most of the time. I only made a NASCAR prediction at all because I was running out of events to predict before the season end; and I didn't think I could catch Antero without a few extra points. It worked out pretty well - but even so, the whole RacingPickers season goes down to the last event: the DTM Shanghai race. Wow!

What are the chances of the overall competition finishing like the 2010 WRC game: with a dead-heat between the two of us? Now that would be incredible!

Thanks, as always, to Freddie and Antero for running RacingPickers this year: I'm already looking forward to next season - complete with the new category.
