Not sure if it's just my setup for protection etc. but quiet often when I go to 'quote' someones posts it freezes up and then comes up with script error, continue or stop and if you click on stop, you can carry on as normal

I think you are using FireFox, right ?

There is no errors logged on the webserver for your account so it is definitely a client side script problem. Do you have the latest SUN Java Runtime Library and the latest version of FireFox ?

It would also be helpful for me to know the exact error message you are receiving

Does anybody else using FireFox experience similar problems ?

I have NOT lost my mind — I have it backed up on tape somewhere.

Yes to all the above... um hang on this has allowed me to 'quote' without the script problem..  If I get it again I will screen dump it and email it to you

The only problem I have when IM using firefox ( apart from not being able to use the smileys ) is when i go to start typing on a thread I get a message up  abuot script and I have to cancel that out before anything I type shows up on the message
