Cross your fingers folks

I will hopefully find out this week if Im going to get promoted to 'head chef' ( well thats what Rich likes to call himself LOL) hes leaving...which is sad...and there are I would say 4 options open to them - one of me is being promoted to replace him...Will be a challenge but anyone that knows me thats my middle name when its comes to kitchens and cooking

Thanks Freddie.... I already - I dont know deep down think I know where Richards replacement will come from ...and if I AM right... it will be the biggest kick in the teeth I could have...and would be very quickly looking for another job...you know how hard Ive been working and hours Ive been doing just lately...and certainly not being done to impress ...just purely for my love of cooking and experimenting with different things... - as its only been this last week that I knew Rich was going for an interview and getting the job.... we will see...but all of a sudden all the excitement I had ( yes and nerves - get those but once IM busy ...just so focused they go) has drained from me as if , as I sais deep down I know where the choice will go..

News I was getting teh gut feeling for... Rich is NOT being replaced... and after a talk with the boss today as I was pretty moody and upset for awhile ( till orders started to come down that is!) and well...just feel like now Ive wasted the last 2 years of my life....

Im still cooking ( but felt like it was being done as a favour to me !!) plus they want more hours with split shifts etc.....wouldnt mind if I got a pay increase ...so dont know what IM doing now ::o((((

If you want a pay increase - go and ask for it !
