Jerez day three - Webber fastest for Red Bull
Red Bull's Mark Webber was the quickest driver in Jerez on Thursday as this week's multi-team test continued. Webber clocked a best time of 1m 19.176s in the RB4 to finish ahead of Renault's Nelson Piquet and Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen. Hot conditions persisted at the Spanish circuit and Webber was able to complete 85 laps in total. The Australian's programme focused on aero development work and suspension changes but the squad also carried out some tyre testing for 2009...

Ferrari's Raikkonen confident of comeback
Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen believes he will regain his competitiveness, despite his poor showing at last weekend's German Grand Prix. Raikkonen, who qualified in sixth, eventually crossed the finish line in the same position to score three world championship points. “It was the most difficult weekend of the year: a horrible Friday, an even more complicated Saturday and a very bad Sunday,” the Finn told Ferrari's official website. “During the tests on this track the week before the car went pretty well, at least that was the feeling we got. In the race it seemed as if we were in a different place. We never managed to find a good set up and the car had absolutely no stability.

When the going gets rough - tyres and track surfaces
Formula One tyre suppliers Bridgestone have a very big part to play in how much grip drivers have at their disposal in a Grand Prix, but there is one aspect where grip is out of Bridgestone's hands, and that relates to the track surface. During the course of this season, Formula One visits 18 tracks, each of which has its own distinctive surface. From the public roads of Monaco, to the dedicated motorsport surfaces of the permanent circuits, each has its trademark fingerprint...

Trulli: more to come from Toyota in Hungary
The German Grand Prix was a frustrating affair for Toyota's Jarno Trulli. After storming to fourth on the Hockenheim grid, Trulli started the race ahead of Renault's Fernando Alonso and Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen. But he eventually only managed to cross the finish line in ninth. The Italian, however, is not disheartened. And despite his exasperating time in Germany, he is feeling confident ahead of the next round in Hungary and is eager to show off the increasingly competitive TF108…

After enduring wet conditions at the previous multi-team test at Hockenheim, the day's runners enjoyed bright sunshine and track temperatures of over 50 degrees Celsius, as they began preparations for the forthcoming Hungarian race...

A race weekend with… Nico Rosberg
Finishing in 10th place may not be the dream ending to your home Grand Prix, but having enjoyed so many successes at Hockenheim in the past, Williams driver Nico Rosberg still retains his affection for the German circuit. It was there that we caught up with Rosberg to find out about his race in Germany and discover a little more about how he likes to spend his time 'in the office' over a race weekend…

Timo Glock to return to TF108 cockpit on Thursday
Toyota's Timo Glock, who was involved in a high-speed accident during last weekend's German Grand Prix, will be back in action on Thursday when he joins Toyota for the team's third day of testing at the Spanish circuit of Jerez. The 26-year-old spent Sunday night in hospital in Ludwigshafen for precautionary checks but returned home on Monday morning for rest and further medical tests. And with the subsequent checks confirming he had suffered no injuries or concussion, he has now been given the all clear to return to the cockpit.

BMW Sauber mechanic injured after KERS shock
A BMW Sauber mechanic has been injured after suffering an electric shock, whilst the German-Swiss team were trying out their Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) during testing at Jerez on Tuesday. The Bridgestone e-reporter GP2 diary - Germany
